11 members met for a short meeting. We have 4 officers, who are unable to attend for health or Covid-19 risk reasons and we miss them!
This month is the last opportunity to donate to Leading Families Home and/or to support the Carruth fundraiser.
Resolutions of Respect were read for our sister, Electa, and Associate Conductress-Elect, Sara Myles, who passed on September 25th. She was a 38 year OES member. AM Debi thanked the team, who performed the service on Wednesday night: WP Gary Bell, Chaplain Joan Draper, Adah Gail Walsh, Ruth Sandy Wymer, Esther Sue Spore, Martha Betty Heninger, and Electa Jane Myers (Sara's sister). Also present were Marilyn and George Braatz, Lee Ann Eicher with Theresa Hudgins, Jimmie Walsh, and Bob Wymer.
The Associate Conductress-Elect office was declared vacant. Denise Moomey was elected to fill this vacancy.
Gail and Jimmie Walsh are selling cards to benefit Lon's Drum Corps. Ohio needs to raise $75,000 for our share of the 2024 General Grand Chapter expenses. They will have cards available at events throughout the year.
8 members were suspended for non-payment of dues, however, checks are in the mail for several of these. They will be reinstated, once received.
Sandy Wymer provided the to-go bags for tonight's refreshments.

Our last charitable project of the 2019-2020 year concluded, when WM Denise and AM Debi delivered 98 household and personal care items (estimated value $250) to Beach House Family Shelter for Leading Families Home. Their supplies were running low so they were most appreciative of our donation. Thanks to all of the members, who contributed to this project over the past few months.
