The District #6 Association is raising funds to benefit Flag City Honor Flight. Each Chapter was given the challenge to dress up a bowling pin as a military Veteran. Tickets are available to vote for your favorite veteran(s). Triune's pin represents Radioman 2nd Class Jimmie Walsh, who served on the USS Midway off the coast of South Vietnam in 1965.

The State Charities Committee asked the District Charities Directors to hold a "Walk in the Park" to benefit Grand Chapter's District Charities and Service Dogs on June 26th. Our walk was held from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Pearson Park in Oregon. Donations were $207.
In conjunction with the "Walk in the Park", there was a virtual Silent Auction. Our Chapters, as well as several individuals, submitted baskets / items for the auction. The auction began June 12th, ended June 26th, and raised $1,210.

In February, we collected gift cards / certificates from local Waterville restaurants to donate to the Waterville Fire Association as a "thank you" for their service to the community. This project had the added benefit of helping the Waterville business community. Monetary donations were accepted and used to purchase additional gift cards. The Chapter donated 45 gift cards with a value of $700 in memory of our member, John Hoffman. The combined total with Palestine was $1,170. Thanks to all, who participated.

They assist approximately 100 Anthony Wayne area families (300 people) with both non-perishable and fresh food items. Distributions are done on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month from the Waterville Community Church. The Food Ministry provided a list, in priority order, of the items most needed. We donated 274 items with an estimated value of $470.

For several years, we collected water and pop bottle caps, which were donated to the school, where our member, Nancy Roesler, teaches. Students counted the bottle caps each month and won related prizes. The caps were then donated to benefit Special Olympics. Thanks to all of our members, who participated. A special thank you to our member, Pastor Glorya Johnson, whose parishioners collected bottle caps, which she shipped monthly to Nancy from New York.
In 2018-2019, the bottle caps were also given to Ohio International Order of the Rainbow for Girls as a benefit for Special Olympics.
Effective 2020, Special Olympics is no longer accepting these bottle caps.

Over the past year, Triune Chapter collected funds for Thea's Rocker, a project sponsored by the District to donate rockers to the pediatric units at Toledo Children's Hospital. Altogether, 27 rockers were presented to the Hospital in a formal ceremony on July 25th. 8 of these rockers were donated by Triune Chapter. The Chapter voted to donate one rocker to the pediatric cancer unit. Four of our members personally donated rockers "in honor of" or "in memory of". Sufficient funds, primary $1 "C" bills, were collected in the donation box to purchase an additional three rockers. Thanks to everyone, who supported this project!

Through October 4th, we had a "diaper drive" in memory of Micah James Braatz, who passed away July 19th at just 3 months of age. Micah had 13 family members in Triune Chapter, including his father. The diapers were donated to the Otsego Local Food Pantry. The chapter collected 1,219 diapers (29 boxes and/or packages) and 1,448 wipes (10 boxes and/or packages). Thanks to everyone, who donated to this special project!

On November 30th, we delivered: 164 rolls of toilet paper, 72 bars / bottles of soap / body wash, 44 bottles of shampoo / conditioner, 24 bottles of lotion, 24 bottles of hand sanitizer, 8 deodorants, 102 razors, 33 toothbrushes, 24 tubes of toothpaste, and 32 tissue packs. Starting January 20th and continuing through March, we collected items needed by, as well as monetary donations for K9 service dogs, who are an important part of our military operations. At our January 20th meeting, members donated $5 to wear the attire of their favorite sports team to benefit this project, which earned $90. We had 12 players for the Bunco Party on April 25th, which earned $60. We also opened up the donation box and counted $80, which brought our total to $230. Thanks to all, who donated to this project!
