Seven members of Triune Chapter attended the initiation of a new member into Maumee Assembly #30 IORG: Debi Huffman, Kim Polinsky, Sue Spore, Janice Sharp, Laura Sharp, Gail Walsh & Jimmie Walsh.
Our girls did a wonderful job, especially considering that the oldest member is only 14 years old! The GWA presided and other members of Fremont Assembly filled several stations.
A very special moment was enjoyed by all, as the father of the new member shared the meaning / symbolism of the Masonic apron.

What a great turn-out we had for our monthly crafts at Browning (8 residents). Joan Draoer really challenged us, as we made Blooming Pencils. She was assisted by Sue Spore and Debi Huffman. If you haven't had an opportunity to join us for one of these events, please consider it. We have a lot of fun and can always use more help.

Members volunteered to help the Anthony Wayne Area Arts Commission prepare the planters in Waterville's downtown area. We hauled 4 plants to each of the 40+ planters and then planted them. We got a bit dirty, but many hands made short work. Thanks to Sue Spore, Denise Moomey, Bob Wymer, Debi Huffman, Roberta Gacsal, and Connie Sidel, who were there to represent Triune & OES. This was an Emerald Project for Grand Chapter.

For "Crafts with Joan" at Browning Masonic Community. Sue Spore and Debi Huffman were on hand to help Joan Draper, as the residents made washcloth cupcakes. This was a pretty easy project and they turned out really cute.

We had a short meeting with a number of officers not present due to other commitments. They missed a surprise visit from Marilyn and George Braatz. AM Denise and AP Gary reminded everyone that Applebutter Fest will be October 13th and volunteers will be needed. WM Sue concluded the meeting by explaining the symbolism of the 13 folds of the US Flag.
After the meeting, there was a very informative presentation by Will Miller, Vice-President of Flag City Honor Flight. He was presented with a check for $78.60 from the chapter, We also had the opportunity to see a quilt made by member Nancy Roesler for Quilts of Valor.
Thanks to our pro-tems Roberta Gacsal, Pat Hill, Connie Sidel, and Allen Hill.
