We had a small group for bingo: Sue Spore, Debi Huffman, Roberta Gacsal, Robin Jackson, Joan Draper, Heidi Moretti, but, as usual, it was a lot of fun!
We played 11 games (3 regular bingos plus big frame, cover all, diagonal, "+", small frame, "T", top/bottom row, and "X"). Each game is played until we have 3 winners. The winner chooses the next game played.
The overall winners were 1st place Robin Jackson, 2nd place Joan Draper, and 3rd place Heidi Moretti. Congrats to all!

We had a small group for Bingo Night, as several of our regulars had other commitments. As always, it was still a lot of fun! Joining us were Lisa Bachman, Debi Huffman, Robin Jackson, Joan Draper, Sue Spore, Roberta Gacsal, and Heidi Moretti.
We played 11 games (3 regular bingo and 1 each "T", "X", "+", half "X", small picture frame, large picture frame, 4 corner, postage stamp). We start with a regular bingo after which the winner picks the next game. We play until we have 3 winners for each game. Overall, Joan Draper finished in 1st place, Robin Jackson in 2nd, and Lisa Bachman in 3rd. Congrats!

We held our first stated meeting after the summer break at Northern Light Lodge, as Browning remains closed to us.
Updates were given on the various service projects and other in person and virtual activities of the past couple of months. A handout was distributed with all of our upcoming September - October activities.
Members were reminded that dues must be received before our October 7th meeting to avoid suspension.
Proposed changes to the By-Laws were read. We will vote on these changes at our September 16th meeting. Proposed changes to the Standing Rules were read and approved. These changes will take effect concurrent with the By-Laws changes.
The Grand Rapids Masonic Lodge has decided not to sponsor a food booth at Applebutter Fest this year. Given the limited time remaining (just over one month), the Chapter decided that it could not take this on for the current year. This has been a good fundraiser for us, so we will work with the Lodge to get a decision made earlier in 2022.
Three petitions for membership were read and assigned to investigating committees. We will ballot at our September 16th meeting. A dispensation will be requested to hold a special meeting for the purpose of initiation on the 5th Thursday, September 30th, in Perrysburg. We do not have access to the paraphernalia we need at the Temple in Maumee. Two demits from membership were granted.
Joan Draper's birthday and Gary Bell's 1st wedding anniversary were celebrated.
Our next meeting on September 16th will be held in Maumee. This is the Honor Night for the Grand Page to the Districts #6 / #7 DGM.
We had 12 officers in attendance: WM Debi Huffman, WP Eric Erickson, AM Betty Heninger, AP Gary Bell, Secretary Bob Wymer, Conductress Gail Walsh, Chaplain Joan Draper, Marshal Roberta Gacsal, Ruth Sandy Wymer, Esther Sue Spore, Warder Pro-Tem Connie Sidel, and Sentinel Jimmie Walsh.

After more than a year delay, 44 passengers from Districts #6 and #7 (plus a few from the state to the north) traveled by coach on an overnight trip to Northern Kentucky. First stop was Mainstrasse Village, an historic German neighborhood in Covington. The group separated for lunch at several local restaurants, although most of us ended up at the Cock and Bull Public House. Afterward, we walked the streets of the Village enjoying the architecture of the homes and businesses and local attractions. We ended the afternoon sitting in the park along the 6th Street promenade enjoying the weather and fellowship. That evening, we boarded the riverboat Belle of Cincinnati in Newport for a dinner cruise. It was a beautiful night to sit or walk on the deck and take in the sites along the Ohio River.
The second day was spent at the Ark Encounter. The Ark contains three stories of exhibits. There is a lot of reading, listening, and walking. Fortunately, there are plenty of places to sit for awhile. And, then, at the end, there's the shopping. Our group purchased everything from clothing to books, paintings, souvenirs, fudge, etc. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. There's even a zoo.

The winner of each game chose the next game to play. The overall 1st place winner was Heidi Moretti. Robin Jackson was 2nd and Sue Spore 3rd. Everyone placed at least twice. Congrats to all!

We had 11 members and 6 visitors at our Stated Meeting, including the Grand Chaplain Al Lawrence and DGM 6/7 Dee Lawrence. We had a full agenda, but managed to get through it in good time. And, for the first time this year, we actually sang our odes!
We balloted on petitions and now have candidates for initiation, which will be held at a special meeting on Thursday, September 30th in Perrysburg (not Maumee).
We voted on changes to our Chapter By-Laws, which were approved unanimously. These will take effect, once we have the approval signatures from Grand Chapter. These changes include moving to one meeting per month on the 1st Thursday. The 3rd Thursday will be our official make-up meeting date, if needed.
Resolutions of Respect were read for Phyllis Nuber. Thanks to our pro-tems, Connie Sidel as Associate Matron, Robin Jackson from Palestine as Associate Conductress, and Roberta Gacsal as Warder.
After the meeting, the Grand Page to the Deputy Grand Matron 6/7 Debi Huffman, was honored by the chapter and presented with gifts of items that will come in handy at Grand Chapter next week. Afterwards, we enjoyed social time and delicious sweet rolls provided by Gail Walsh and Joan Draper.

What a special night! It took a region to initiate five new members (3 for Triune and 2 as a courtesy for Palestine) with officers from six chapters. Thanks to everyone, who helped out.
We had 49 in attendance including PGP Ray Hendricks, PGM Gail Walsh, AGC Marla Barber, Grand Marshal Jennifer Garringer, and Grand Martha Tracie Evans. It was wonderful to see so many on the sidelines! After the meeting, we enjoyed refreshments provided by Palestine.
Initiated for Triune were Raquel Brown (NW Ohio Community Outreach Coordinator with Ohio Masonic Home Resource Center), Kiara Burney (pre-med student at University of Toledo), and Malek Bouni (Damascas-Collingwood Lodge). They are pictured with PGM Gail Walsh (left) and WM Debi Huffman (right).
Only 7 Triune officers were in their regular stations: WM Debi Huffman, AM Betty Heninger, Secretary Bob Wymer, Conductress Gail Walsh, Ruth Sandy Wymer, Esther Sue Spore, and Sentinel Jimmie Walsh. The remainder were filled by pro-tems: WP Gary Bell (Triune), AP Todd Evans (Bryan), Treasurer Dan Garringer (Lotus), Associate Conductress Denise Zephier (Greenwood), Chaplain Connie Sidel (Triune), Marshal Jennifer Garringer (Lotus), Organist Lynn Grear (Lotus), Adah Sue Roseler (Palestine), Martha Diane Worcester (Lotus), Electa Peggy Heider (Yondota), and Roberta Gacsal (Triune). Our 2 prompters were Shirley Olmstead (Lotus) and Lisa Jones (Palestine).
Our sideliners included 3 Triune members we haven't seen in awhile: Robert Roesler (our Organist), Robin Webb Hoffman, and Jim Moomey. What a surprise!
We are excited to have these new members and hope that they will become active participants in our meetings and other activities. Welcome!
