Summer is over and we are back to our stated meetings. We have several officers, who are unable to join us due to health concerns. Last night, we had 11 members present. It was a short meeting with no refreshments, but we were able to get caught up on our business.
The members voted to request a dispensation to change our meeting dates from the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays to the 1st and 3rd Thursdays for as long as we are meeting at Maumee. We know that we will not be back at Browning at least through the end of the 2020 calendar year.
We approved holding our 2020-2021 Installation of Officers on Thursday, November 5th at a stated meeting. Due to the ongoing pandemic and need to maintain social distance, the installation will be closed to visitors. We feel that this decision is in the best interest of our members.
Members were reminded that donations for Leading Families Home will be collected through October. Carruth Fundraising catalogs were distributed to members. This fundraiser will conclude October 31st.
WM Denise provided to-go bags for the members.

Our Worthy Matron, Denise Moomey, looked very much alone last night, as we only had 9 members attend our meeting. We received the dispensation to change our meeting night temporarily to 1st and 3rd Thursdays until Browning reopens. We already had a dispensation to change the location to Northern Light Lodge in Maumee. The Worthy Matron's opening and closing remarks were about "gardens", her theme for the year.
The Leading Families Home charitable project and Carruth fundraiser run through the end of October.
AM Debi provided to-go bags for the members in lieu of refreshments.

Attending from Triune were PGM and Grand Trustee Gail Walsh, Jimmie Walsh, George Braatz, Chapter Excellence Coordinator Marilyn Braatz, and Charitable Foundation Executive Administrator Debi Huffman.
