Crown & Scepter Club had its annual Christmas dinner at the Holiday Inn French Quarter. We were a small group, as several of our members were unavailable due to illness and other commitments. But, we had a good time, spending hours enjoying the food and catching up. Attending were Gail Walsh, Betty Heninger, Debi Huffman, Sue Spore, and Denise Moomey. President Debi presented each with a small Xmas present - a cupcake from the award winning Cake in a Cup. Yum!

This was our Christmas meeting. WP Eric reported that we donated $136 to Zion Lutheran Church for the Anthony Wayne Food Ministry. WM Sue kept the meeting short so that we could enjoy the refreshments provided by the Elf Patrol (Justine Dyer, Lee Ann Eicher, Theresa Hudgins, Sandy Wymer) and our crazy Christmas sock exchange. We played a game to determine which socks each got to take home. Everyone enjoyed the goodies that were stuffed into the socks.

We had monthly crafts at Browning. Joan Draper had the residents and her helpers, Betty Heninger and Debi Huffman, making Santa, Angel, Christmas Tree, and Reindeer treat boxes filled with candy. Glue is always a challenge for us, but we were successful in creating boxes that looked great. Thanks, as always, Joan for leading this effort each month!
