Well, we made it through another Applebutter Fest. It was a windy day, which made it feel colder than it actually was. We sold out of hot chocolate and coffee in the morning and apple crisp, fried bologna, and hot dogs in the afternoon. Hopefully, this means that it was a successful fundraiser.
Thanks to our apple crisp makers Joan Draper, Roberta Drouard, Justine Dyer, Lee Ann Eicher, Eric (Janet) Erickson, Betty Heninger, Debi Huffman, Denise Moomey, Sara Myles, Gail Walsh, and Sandy Wymer, Thanks to our workers Gary Bell, George Braatz, Marilyn Braatz, Tiffany Densic (with Rocky Challen), Lee Ann Eicher (with Theresa Hudgins), Betty Heninger, Debi Huffman, Denise Moomey, Sara Myles, Gail Walsh, Jimmie Walsh, Bob Wymer, and Sandy Wymer.
Thanks to everyone, who helped out in any way. "A special "thank you" to Grand Rapids Lodge for inviting us to work with them on this annual event. Some of the brothers working with us today were Bob Bachman, Lee Box, Bud Connelly, Jay Jimison (with Mary), and Rick Scheider.

Our WM Sue Spore and WP Eric Erickson look entirely too happy at their farewell meeting. Denise Moomey reported on Applebutter Fest and shared information with us about her upcoming Charities Director activities. Our November-December charity project is Hannah's Socks. Palestine Chapter and Browning will also participate. We will collect any size socks (men's, women's, children's). Joan Draper and Denise Moomey conducted a memorial service for the members we lost this past year. After the meeting, AM Denise Moomey presented Sue and Eric with a gift from the officers/members. Thanks to our pro-tems Jimmie Walsh, Pat Hill, Carol Histed, and Connie Sidel. And, it was great to see Karen Ruscoe, who is visiting from her new home in Indiana.

Everyone was decked out in Christmas attire for our Christmas meeting. After the meeting, we had prizes for the 1st through 4th place winners of the best outfit. Then, we adjourned to Harmony Hall to enjoy refreshments and our 2nd Annual Sock Exchange. This year, socks were selected by members in order of age (oldest to youngest).
