What a fun trip we had, when we joined Greenwood Chapter for our sister chapter outing! First, we visited the Mazza Museum in Findlay, which has the world's most diverse collection of original art from children's picture books. They have over 11,000 pieces in their inventory of which about 10% are on display at any given time. Our docent was both fun and knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the artists and their methods. After, we headed back to Bowling Green for pizza, Betty salad, and strawberry shortcake. Attending from Triune were Denise Moomey, Gail Walsh, Jimmie Walsh, Betty Heninger, Debi Huffman, and Joan Draper. Thanks to Greenwood for their efforts in putting together this event for us. |
